REM® Online Workshop - September 2021
The purpose of this five-week workshop is to prepare candidates to take the REM®® examination. The workshop is asynchronous (fully online); candidates do not “attend” a class at a specific time. Candidates have the flexibility to study and review materials at their own pace. The workshop is comprised of multiple pre-recorded videos (totaling approximately 15 hours) that are available to view on-demand. Access to view the pre-recorded videos and ability to view and/or download the accompanying REM® slides are provided through SharePoint. An instructor will be available over the course of the five weeks for one-on-one communication and to answer any questions that may arise.
A computer, laptop, tablet or other device capable of accessing a SharePoint site using an internet connection is required. For example, PC with Windows 7 or higher or Mac with OSX Mojave or higher.
The REM® Workshop fee includes:
- Access to view the pre-recorded videos modules
- REM® PowerPoint Slides
- REM® computerized examination; taken at a testing center or via remote proctoring
The REM® Printed Study Guide is not included and must be purchased separately. We recommend attendees purchase the REM® Printed Study Guide (at minimum) three weeks prior to the course. This will not only allow adequate time for shipping but also allow them to read and examine the study guide prior to the workshop. The exam questions focus on the study guide subject matter and the 2020 version of the exam itself breaks down as follows:
